Three-Body Technology has launched VO-TT, a new multiband dynamics processor plugin designed for both Windows and Mac users. This tool aims to enhance vocal mixing by providing a balanced and professional sound with minimal adjustments.
VO-TT draws inspiration from the OTT (Over The Top) preset found in Ableton’s Multiband Dynamics processor. It expands on this concept by fine-tuning it across five frequency bands specifically tailored for vocals. This design allows users to achieve a well-balanced vocal sound with ease.
The plugin features five distinct frequency bands, each targeting a different aspect of vocal sound. Users can choose from twelve meticulously crafted processing styles that cater to a wide range of scenarios. Typically, adjusting the sliders for each frequency band is sufficient to achieve the desired sound.
Additional features of VO-TT include zero latency for both live and production environments, a dry mix option, undo/redo functionality, A/B switching, and user-defined default settings. It also supports L/R and M/S stereo processing modes, is optimized for extreme CPU efficiency, and offers native support for Apple Silicon. The plugin is compatible with MacOS Retina and Windows high-DPI displays.
The minimum system requirements for VO-TT include an Intel or AMD CPU with an SSE 4.1 instruction set, or Apple Silicon, macOS 11 or Windows 8, 4GB of RAM, and 100MB of disk space. It supports 64-bit VST2, VST3, AAX, and Audio Unit plugin formats.
